Events and Permissions

For each event, you configure permission grants. A grant pairs an access level and validity window with any number of targets — individuals, positions, onduty positions, or teams — so you can hand the same access to a whole batch of people without repeating yourself. Targets look like:

Each grant is valid either Always (all year long) or only On-Site (valid only when a matching Ranger is marked "on-site" in Clubhouse). Use a grant's date fields to set a not-after time, after which it stops granting access, and/or a not-before time, before which it does not yet grant access. Type a time like and clear the field to remove it. Times are in your time zone (). Each grant also has an optional description — a note explaining the grant's purpose or reasoning — shared by every target in the grant; editing it via "Edit terms" updates them all at once.

A target with an unknown person, position, or team name is flagged in red as an "Unknown target", and the event's header shows a count of such issues. Use the target's "Fix" button to correct a typo. Click "Explain" to see which Rangers currently match each grant, based on Clubhouse position/team mappings, validity rules, and expiration times.
